Low Friction Hub Bearing

Based on its world-class*1 low friction technology refined over many years, NTN has been continuously improving its “Low Friction Hub Bearing” series. The improved product adopts a newly developed seal that reduces contact resistance between the seal and the bearing while ensuring resistance to muddy water. As a result, rotational friction has been reduced by approximately 66% compared to conventional products*2. When applied to BEVs, this improvement is expected to enhance energy efficiency by 0.76% and extend the cruising distance by approximately 2.2 km per charge*3.
